The Surprising Benefits of Stress
Topic:

Juggling one’s job and home life becomes a delicate balancing act, where dropping any proverbial balls is not an option. It’s no surprise that individuals find themselves feeling stressed and overwhelmed under such circumstances. The increasing demands at work, coupled with the desire for quality family time, can leave one feeling stretched thin. With limited hours in the day, the pressure can feel relentless and withhold any sense of calm.

However, amidst this chaos, there’s a silver lining to stress. Recent research indicates that stress isn’t always negative. By reframing one’s perception of stress, individuals can alter their body’s reaction to it, potentially leading to increased happiness, improved health, and greater success.

In this engaging and informative presentation, Mary Owens will talk about:

  • The beneficial aspects of stress and its necessity in life.
  • Practical strategies for managing emotions and feeling overwhelmed that are often associated with stress.
  • Techniques for cultivating a mindset that enables individuals to harness stress to their advantage.
  • Approaches to crafting a work-life balance that fosters professional and personal rejuvenation and fulfillment.
