Meet Our Speaker:
Ericka Dunlap is an award-winning public relations strategist, accomplished speaker, entrepreneur, and community advocate with a passion for helping others lead with authenticity and purpose.
In 2003, Ericka made history as the first Black woman to be crowned Miss Florida in the pageant’s 85-year history. The following year, she won the title of Miss America 2004, using her national platform to spark meaningful conversations around diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness—topics she continues to champion today.
As CEO of Crown Communication Group, Ericka leads a multidisciplinary strategic consulting firm based in Orlando, where she helps brands and organizations shape impactful messaging through storytelling, strategy, and intentional engagement. She’s also a seasoned television host and performer, with appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Amazing Race, Live with Regis and Kelly, and stages like The Apollo and The Grand Ole Opry. Her recent work includes hosting the award-winning web series Cleverest and the nationally distributed talk show A Healthier Us for Advil.
Ericka is the visionary creator of A Christmas with Soul, a heartwarming, multi-city holiday experience showcasing soulful renditions of Christmas classics. She also authored a companion book by the same name, filled with captivating imagery and seasonal reflections.
Through decades of service, leadership, and public engagement, Ericka Dunlap has empowered audiences nationwide with messages of self-worth, resilience, and joyful leadership. She resides in Orlando with her daughter, Mikelle Antoinette.
