Warm Gathering of Sharing and Fun – Holiday Luncheon

We invite you to a holiday luncheon that will be a warm gathering of sharing and fun.

Part 1: TRADITIONS SHARED

Do you have a cherished holiday tradition? We’re excited to invite you to submit your story.

Our Program Committee will have the difficult task of picking five member stories to be shared during our December 5th holiday luncheon. We know it will be challenging because we’ve got such a wonderfully diverse group. But don’t worry; if your tradition isn’t selected for a live presentation, we’d still love to feature it in a rotating slideshow during the luncheon.

Criteria:

• The uniqueness of your tradition
• Cultural significance
• Ability to engage and resonate with the audience
• 100 words or less

Timeline:

• Please submit by November 1st
• We will notify all participants of our decisions by November 17th

Part 2: LAUGHTER AND FUN

Make an entrance with your one-of-a-kind sweater at our unique sweater contest.

When you arrive at registration, you will be able to self-select one of the three following categories.

Ugly:
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but let the judges be the ones to decide that! Judges will look for a sweater you may want to avoid being seen in public with.

Funny:
Make everyone laugh, and show off your sense of humor with this sweater! Judges will look for a sweater that makes the room giggle and spreads some joy.

Creative:
Show off your out-of-the-box thinking and stretch the boundaries of what a sweater is! Judges will look for a sweater that is one of a kind and shows some personality.

While every participant is already a winner, our panel of three FEW Member judges, distinct from the Program Committee, will select one sweater-clad member from each category.

We invite you to join us for this luncheon that promises moments of uproarious laughter as we gather to exchange stories and celebrate creativity.
