As a rising sophomore or junior female student, you have the opportunity to apply for our scholarship program. This initiative supports academically talented students with financial need. Before applying, please ensure you meet all qualifications and prepare the necessary documents.
Scholarship Application Deadline: April 1
Qualifications
You must be a female student rising into sophomore or junior year. Enrolled full-time at one of these institutions:
Bethune-Cookman University
Rollins Professional Advancement (Hamilton Holt School of Rollins College)
Seminole State College of Florida
University of Central Florida
Valencia College
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Demonstrated financial need of at least $3,000.
Scholarship Details
FEW awards one scholarship per institution, each worth $3,000. Note: The scholarship does not transfer if you change schools.
ApplicationRequirements
Complete all sections of the online application form and submit all required files in PDF format.
Respond the the required essay prompt in 500 words or less.
Submit two letters of recommendation on professional letterhead from an employer, mentor, faculty, or staff member. These should specifically support your FEW Scholarship application (recommendations from students or family members are not accepted).
Upload a PDF of your unofficial transcript(s) from the college(s) you’ve attended.
Deadline
Submit your complete online application, including essay, transcript(s), and two recommendation letters, by April 1. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
